Allahabad. Lets start with the city I was born in, and have spent all my live till now, for it, along with its various elements, have played a large part in making me who I am, and who I claim to want to be on several occasions. This splendiferous city, whose splendiferousness, like all cities vary from place to place, near and far, from Rajapur to Ashok Nagar, from Kareli to Naini, which accommodates the confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, the central part of which accommodates material pollution originating from religious enthusiasm, and which is home to the Kumbh Mela, which is perhaps the largest gathering of humankind in a given period of time, the unapparent cause to the politically inclined nature of the changing infrastructure and labelling of the same around the town, along with its other attributes, has impressed me with its ethos, ever since the understanding of impressive ethos has taken its root in my mind.
Accordingly, the roads, the buildings, with the touch of Indo-Saracenic architecture here and there, and the gardens, the parks, the slums by those roads, and the consistently, regardless of the condition, calm and content atmosphere of it all, has majorly contributed to the formation of my worldview. To leave this place for academic or professional reasons, is necessary for further personal growth and development, but my fondness of the town will never let, the sense of belonging to it, fade.
Allahabad, as described above, is a grand factor in the expression of my life, but is not the only factor, of course. My parents, Vinay and Shipra Singh, are teachers. Autonomously, the Saraswati part of the confluence becomes more pronounced behind the gates of the house I live in, inside the walls of my home. However, the flexible and unorthodox nature of the environment at home also allowed my exposure to Western ethos, literature, pop-culture, allowing me to choose what I wanted to admire, rather than forcing a particular set of beliefs upon me, a practice which has visibly made its way into the set of practices that define our very own culture. At the end of the day, I began to categorically adore both the domestic and foreign bits of what could be learnt, in their own will.
I fancy myself as a generalist. The works and accomplishments in their respective fields of personalities Shakespeare, Beethoven, Mahadevi Verma, George R.R. Martin, Andy Weir, Ratan Tata, Elon Musk, and Richard Feynman; dramas like Macbeth and Hamlet, books like Capital in the Twenty First Century, The Martian, Six Easy Pieces, Freakonomics, and Sapiens have deeply influenced my thought process, playing a pivotal part in my understanding of entertainment itself and the message various genres of it are supposed to portray, consequently influencing my style of writing.
Thus are the pillars to my intrigued attitude towards business and law, my fascination with science and technology, my fondness of Literature, and disgust, as one could tell by my preferences, associated with William Wordsworth.

With that being said, you might have a rough idea by now of who I am. I am Vijjwal Singh, and this is only to begin what could have been, but perhaps already is, much more than what can be comprehended solely from reading this page. Maybe I’ll make it more comprehensive in the future.
